Something great happened today! I took the January licensure
exams for Architecture and the list of the examination passers were unexpectedly
released today. And guess what? My name was there.
The news came to me at 4am from a text message by Arch. Alvarado
(naks!).
-Marc! Congrats architect!-
Then was called up a few minutes later by Arch. FBotoybits (FB).
This was how the conversation went (at least the way I recall it);
FB: Marc! Natutulog ka ba?
Me: Uhm… medyo. Baket?
FB: Gusto mo magising?
Me: Uhm, anu yun? (with an increased heart rate, just a bit!)
FB: Pasado ka!
Me: Talaga? Di
biro yan ah.
FB: Sy, Marc Angelo Paz ka right?
Me: Yup!
FB: Congratz dude!
My sister: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa… (making incomprehensible
noise)
Me: Thanks!
I know it didn’t really went that way, but I don’t remember
anymore. Wahahahaha! Then I went to sleep after greeting Karen, Lalee,
Puri and JoAnn for passing the exams
too.
Then out of nowhere, prolly somewhere around 8am? my dad
woke me up with a smile and congratulating me for passing.
Dad: Pasado ka sa boards. (Million dollar smile)
Me: urrrghhh… (stands up and shakes hand)
Dad: Alam mo na ba?
Me: YupzzzzzZZZZZ……

Whahahahahhaha! I’d love to tell you guys some more but I
really can't say how the day really transpired, it happened so fast. Anyway, here are some of the things that happened. Got a call from
Marv, Keweng and Ronald Kobe (Kobe’s
was totally unexpected!) Although nothing else big happened today, I was really
happy on how people reacted. I’m really thankful that everything went well
but I can’t really celebrate since there were some that didn’t make it. But
after reflecting on things, I know that I’m pretty lucky. A new chapter is
being made, new stuff to learn/relearn and see. This got me anticipating on
what the future may bring. Til another chapter begins, wish me luck with this
one.
